Jonathan D. Gudorf

Jon Gudorf is the Tax Return Preparer at Gudorf Tax Group. He provides seasonal support, helping to ensure that the office runs smoothly and freeing the accounting staff to focus on clients’ tax needs. Colleagues describe Jon as dependable and always ready to help—valuable traits at any time, but especially during tax season.

Easygoing and informal, Jon enjoys meeting the firm’s clients and getting to know them when they have a moment to chat. Given the nature of a tax office and clients’ busy schedules, Jon also takes pride in efficiently addressing client needs and finding new and better ways to do things. He is a supportive and valued member of the Gudorf Tax Group team.

Jon has a B.A. from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and a Master’s degree from Oxford University in England, where he lived for fifteen years. He returned to the United States with a charming English wife, Izzy, though without a charming accent; Jon’s voice betrays his Midwestern roots, as does his lifelong devotion to the Chicago Cubs.

When not working, Jon enjoys playing the guitar, spending time with family, traveling, and photography. He has traveled to more than 80 countries, and some of his travel photographs can be seen on the walls of the Gudorf Financial Group office.
