Shelley L. Denney, EA, ATA, ATP obtained her licenses as a Special Enrolled Agent (EA) from the Internal Revenue Service in 1985. Shelley is federally licensed to practice before Internal Revenue and has unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS.
Shelley also obtained her accreditations as an Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA) and Accredited Tax Preparer from the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation. Her expertise covers tax returns for individuals, business entities, fiduciaries, trusts and estates as well as tax planning and tax consulting.
To maintain her credentials, Shelley is required to complete many hours of continued professional education on an annual basis. She enthusiastically keeps abreast of the ever-changing Federal, State and local tax laws and has prepared thousands of individual, business, fiduciary and estate tax returns over the thirty years plus she has been in practice.
In the Spring of 1986, Shelley earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.
